Get Spooky – Mustard Seed Halloween Party

When will all the zombies start showing up? – October 31, 9pm – 2am

Where are we going again?Mustard Seed Market and Cafe – 867 W Market St, Highland Square, Akron – (330) 434-7333

What’s a ghoul gotta spend to get in? – You aren’t dropping a dime to get in the party. That’s right, it’s free admission. That means you’ve got that much more in your pocket to spend at the bar or on the late night menu. Mustard Seed’s kitchen is open til 12am on Saturday nights!

MustardSeedHalloweenWhere can I park my broomstick? – There is onsite parking in the lot behind the Mustard Seed – Score! But remember, it’s Halloween and people will be all over Highland Square. Get there early to get a good parking space.

What kind of night is it? – This party works for a date night, or girls night/buddy night, perfect for the people in your life that are a little bit left of center in their tastes.

Should I pull out my finest cloak, or is this more of a comfortable, favorite bandages sort of night? – Come on! It’s Halloween! You should wear a costume. In fact there is a Halloween costume contest. Now something tells me that this party isn’t going to be full of the “sexy whatever of the moment” costumes, but if that’s what you are into go for it. And if you are one of those people who are too cool for haunted high school who won’t wear a costume, then so be it, but people are going to point at you and laugh.

Who’s providing the Monster Mash sounds? – The Mustard Seed has made sure that this party will be a laid back good time by booking Akron’s own, The Admirables. And Thunder Vortex will be spinning the cuts to keep you dancing!

Will there be plenty of spirits (if you know what I mean)? – The Mustard Seed Cafe has a full bar, a selection of wines for any tastes, and great list of craft beers. And if you aren’t looking to get your buzz on, they the got your back. Milkshakes, smoothies, and all manner of other spirit free choices.

Will I be comfortable there? – The crowds at the Mustard Seed are very open and diverse. If you are looking for something a little out of the ordinary, this is the party for you. This isn’t the average Halloween party – there’s a jazz band and a DJ playing for goodness sake! – but it is going to be fun, for sure.
